Who guides you
Michael Maiinitiator and coach
Family-run mid-sized businesses and manufacturing industry are my home. For 20 years I have guided them through digitalisation, change and sustainable value creation. I stay with it until ideas become real results.
From my own projects I keep finding the same thing: it is not the will that is missing, nor the ability: it is depth. In day-to-day business it simply gets lost. That is a shame, because it is exactly this depth that AI initiatives in a company need in order to truly hold. Whoever penetrates one thing gains the view of the whole, and it is exactly this assured command that AIEE makes learnable.
AI is an exceptionally powerful tool. But to truly use it takes your own experience. That is why I created AIEE: not a lecture, but real hands-on experience on a project of your own, from which a robust judgement of your own emerges.
My aim is clear: mid-sized businesses should be put in a position to use the enormous potential of AI to their advantage. To create access, and to enable companies and their management to deploy AI profitably and productively. Because in the end a good AI application is a well-considered process improvement: profitable, cleanly prepared and close to the people who work with it.
What I pass on here I have lived through myself: in a few months I built my own apps, agents and automations self-taught, hand in hand with AI, and set up my own infrastructure. It thrills me every day, and it is exactly this enthusiasm I pass on to you in AIEE. I look forward to it.
Frequently asked
Who is this programme for?+
For owners and managing directors who set the direction of their company, for managers who steer their division or their team, regardless of company size: on this topic, you want to be at the wheel yourself.
Because AI is a decision you don't simply delegate. Those who understand it, can judge it and shape it themselves stay independent: building their own solutions, rolling them out in their own house, keeping the reins in hand. That is exactly the sovereignty we give you: the toolkit to lead AI on your own terms.
Intensive workshop or practice programme: what is the difference?+
The essential difference is the subject. In the programme you carry your own project all the way through, from the first concept to a solution that actually runs at the end. In the workshop you walk the same cross-section on example cases we provide, compressed into one or two days.
In the programme you work on your own venture for 8 weeks: deciding, building, testing, discarding, rebuilding, until it runs. The learning does not happen through slides but through your own experience, guided by us. Part of that is the time you spend with the AI: getting a feel for how to steer it, where it carries and where it does not, is the real key experience, and it does not emerge in one or two days.
The workshop is the compressed form. The one-day workshop conveys the essential knowledge, interactively with the AI and on your own server: the factors and metrics by which AI ventures succeed or fail, plus data strategy, dealing with US and third-country providers, EU AI Act and transparency duties. The two-day workshop adds a hands-on day and likewise works on examples; at the end there is a decided project brief with an implementation roadmap. The first day is identical in both workshop formats. You bring nothing.
The unique test environment is provided in both formats. We give you your own AI agent server and your own AI access, and the environment stays available beyond the last day, so you can keep experimenting afterwards: 1 month after the workshop, 3 months after the programme.
What prior knowledge do I need?+
You don't need to program, and technical background is not a prerequisite. What matters is creativity, communication and openness towards the technology: you bring your ideas and your judgement, the AI handles the technical side.
Where something is missing, we fill the gap: individually and hands-on, in at the deep end: you work directly with the AI, and we're right beside you.
What is this AI server of my own, and what do I get from it?+
From the first minute you work in an environment of your own, fully set up: an AI agent server in Germany and AI access of your own to go with it. You sign in and start; setup and operation are on us. That is the difference to a course that explains on slides what it would be like.
That buys independence. The environment is no platform of ours that you move into: there is no account and no login on our side. You work in your own space, separate from your private and business systems, and once the included period ends you decide: keep the server running, move to an environment of your own, or leave it there. What you learn here stays with you even if you later settle on entirely different tools.
And it lowers the barrier. The machine is steered by language. Whoever works technically goes deeper and looks under the hood; whoever does not simply describes what they need, and gets it. So everyone in the same room has their own experience, and everyone works hands-on.
What data do I work with, and what about data protection?+
Your working environment sits in Germany: that is where your files live and where your agents run. The AI itself deliberately runs at a US provider; no language model of our own runs on the German server. So the environment and your data stay in Germany, while the model calls go to the US. We say so openly; it is the reality you will be deciding in back at the company as well. EU-hosted models are possible on request in the “Sirius” programme option.
Which data you use is your decision: business, personal or made-up. You run a company; you are equipped to make this call, legally included, and we won't patronise you about it. Together with your AI you analyse the flow and use of data in your project and decide deliberately, building block by building block, for or against, with all the consequences we lay out for you beforehand.
That is precisely the competence at stake here: making that decision consciously, instead of working around it.
Do I get a certificate?+
You receive a confirmation of participation, verifiable online: via a code anyone can check at any time that you completed the format you booked, what it covered and how many hours it comprised.
You can verify a confirmation on our verification page cert.aiee.eu: enter the code, confirm authenticity.
Does this satisfy the AI literacy obligation under the EU AI Act?+
Article 4 of the AI Act requires companies to foster AI literacy among their staff. The workshop and the programme are one building block towards that.
On completion you receive an online-verifiable confirmation of participation stating participant, date, content and hours. It adds to your internal training records, for instance in the context of Article 4. The legal assessment remains with the company.
